About Our Company
From its roots in the 1970s as a support initiative for at-risk children in central Texas, IAEC evolved into a powerhouse of entrepreneurial education and community transformation across the Americas.
Over time, the organization refined its focus to equip underserved individuals — including veterans and historically disadvantaged groups — with the skills, mindset and opportunities to launch and scale ventures, build self-reliance and reshape the economic destiny of their communities.
With global training cohorts, bootcamps, 1-:1 mentoring and deep networks, IAEC is more than a classroom: it’s a movement for turning ideas into impact, locally and internationally.
Our Purpose
At our core, we believe that entrepreneurship is a path to dignity, opportunity and community transformation. We exist to deliver high-quality entrepreneurial education, mentorship and connection to capital for those too often left out of the startup ecosystem. Specifically:
We prioritise disadvantaged groups and veterans, helping them bridge into business ownership and innovation.
We teach the “how” of launching ventures — from idea validation and business models to pitching, finance, sales and team building.
We forge ecosystems of support: mentors, networks, resources and markets, so that participants don’t just start businesses, they build sustainable ones.
In doing so, we aim not simply to create entrepreneurs, but to ignite community transformation: enterprises that create jobs, unlock investment, and re-shape local economies.
